COSHH regulations state that Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) equipment be appraised and tested every 14 months.
Peel Fabrications employ testers with 40 years of knowledge within industrial fume extraction and ventilation. We are able to fully test, report and appraise systems to conform with Regulation 9 of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations (COSHH) and the guidance in HSG 54 “The maintenance, examination and testing of local exhaust ventilation.
Each 5 page report will come in Adobe Acrobat form and contain airflow, velocity, pressures and results of a particulate test taken at exhaust level. Any defects will be highlighted and recommendations made. A conformity certificate and weekly checklist is also included to ensure COSHH approval.
